Black Student Association

BSA’s purpose is to develop and encourage university spirit among African American students, and to enhance and improve the cultural and social life of African American students on campus. The organization also serves as a medium between Africa American students, administrators, and faculty and staff. 

Brother to Brother 

B2B provides an avenue to increase graduation rates among minority male students by providing a nurturing environment based on promoting campus connectedness, academic support, character development, and community service to ensure the college success of its minority male students. Brother-to-Brother meets twice a month.

Chinese Student Association

To serve Chinese students, exists to help them better adapt to life at ASU. Also, to help carry forward the Chinese culture to American students and any people who want to know more about China.

Circle of Trust

COT is a student organization that provides an avenue for retaining minority female students in higher education. The group offers academic and social support, leadership development, and community involvement. The organization also features a mentorship component. COT meets twice a month.

Gay–Straight Alliance

The GSA advocates for equality, provides support, and promotes a better understanding of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning community. The student organization meets twice a month.

Hispanic Outreach & Latino Appreciation

HOLA’s goal is to enhance and support the college experience for the Hispanic student population. HOLA also fosters a sense of community among everyone that has an interest in giving support to Latin culture and providing foundation that will ensure academic, social, and personal success at ASU.

International Student Association

To support international students and promote cultural awareness.

Japanese Student Organization

Cross-cultural activities to provide all students opportunities to experience Japanese culture and language.

Korean Student Association 

To bring together Korean students on campus and welcomes any students who are interested in Korean culture and language.

Multicultural Center Ambassadors

The MC Ambassador program is a group of students selected to represent the Multicultural Center by informing the ASU and Jonesboro community about the Center’s services, programs, and initiatives. The ambassadors also help plan and execute events sponsored by the MC.

Muslim Student Association 

To serve the needs of Muslim students in ASU and help increase the awareness of the University community about Islam and its beliefs through educational programs thereby promoting knowledge and understanding between Muslims and non-Muslims.

National Pan-Hellenic Council 

NPHC is a council comprised of nine historically Black Greek letter fraternities and sororities. These organizations focus on community engagement and educational, cultural and social activities. There are seven NPHC fraternities and sororities on ASU’s campus. For more information please visit www.astate.edu/greeklife.

Saudi Student Club

To support Saudi students at A-State and organize Saudi cultural events.

Student Veterans Organization

To assist all veterans in transitioning from boots to books. Additional services are also available.
