Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is around the Chi Omega fountain, behind the Reng Student Union. We have lots of tables under the trees that creates a fun spot to eat lunch or meet with friends! When the weather is nice in the fall it is the perfect place to study or enjoy a Starbuck’s coffee!
Favorite Campus Event: My favorite events on campus all take place during our “Welcome Week”. It is the first week in our Fall semester and we have lots of events and fun ways for students to get involved on campus! The week provides so many students with all the opportunities they could take part in while being at Arkansas State.
Free Time Activities: I always enjoy spending time with my family and friends whether it be traveling on a fun trip or a fun dinner together! I also love watching movies whether it be at the theatre or on Netflix and reading science fiction books. You can always find me planning my next trip as well, always looking for new adventure!.
Favorite Place to Eat in Jonesboro: J-Towns! I love that they offer breakfast and supper menus with great items. They are also so close to the A-State campus it is a great place for students to try. My favorite thing about J-Towns is their Trivia Night they have every week that anyone can participate in.
Most Interesting Class You Took in College: It would have to be a tie between English Equitation and Ceramics! In English Equitation I learned all about horses, caring for them, and English style riding. In Ceramics I learned about pottery making and all the work that goes into it. I loved taking fun and different classes!
#1 Piece of Advice for Prospective Students: Visit campus! I highly encourage students to wither come on a Preview Day or come for a personal visit to see campus for themselves and all A-State could be for them! I grew up close the university and still learned so much from going on a tour and meeting current students. You can get so many questions answered while on a tour from current students and professors!
