Short Course Description
In an emergency, disaster or crisis situation, communication is essential. Clear, concise messages delivered with comfort, confidence and credibility can be life-saving and impact community and corporate reputations far beyond the critical events themselves.
In the Arena is a one-day workshop designed to prepare participants to anticipate and identify potential crisis situations, frame issues and messages, communicate with and through the media, and address questions and concerns.
Contemporaneous video examples will be reviewed and analyzed to serve as points of reference for participants when it comes to interviewing skills and projecting command when the stakes are highest.
In the Arena includes an exercise in which attendees will work together to apply learnings in a mock crisis scenario.
