Classes Canceled Monday, March 30

In light of the ongoing recovery efforts related to the EF-3 tornado that hit our hometown of Jonesboro Saturday, Chancellor Kelly Damphousse has canceled classes for Monday, March 30. Monday was to be our first day back from Spring Break, and a continuation of our all-online instruction because of COVID-19.

Nurse Educator

Graduate Certificate (Certificate)


College: College of Nursing and Health Professions | Graduate School

Department: Nursing

Students seeking a certificate as a Nurse Educator may complete the required 12 credit hours  without being admitted to the Master of Science in Nursing program or may complete as a Post Graduate Certificate with completion of the MSN degree in another option.  This Nurse Educator Certificate will prepare nurses for formal and informal teaching of nurses, patients, and students, in the healthcare or academic environment.

    How to Apply

    Applying to the Graduate School

    All applicants for any MSN program must first be accepted by the Graduate School. Apply online here.

    • Send official transcript of all undergraduate and graduate work (personal copies will not be accepted) to: ASU Graduate Admissions, PO Box 1570, State University, AR 72467
    • Designated, non-refundable application fee
    • Written documentation of measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) immunization
    • US citizens must be registered or exempt with Selective Service. Affirmation Action information can be found here.

    Applying to the MSN Program

    After applying to the Graduate School, candidates must also apply to the MSN program:

    1. Be accepted by the Graduate School for admission.
    2. Complete the MSN application
    3. Meet the Application Deadlines:
      - Family Nurse Practitioner - Fall Term Admission Only, Application Deadline is February 1st
