Welcome from the Executive Director
On behalf of the Office of Multicultural Affairs at Arkansas State University, welcome to our page. We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where ALL students thrive. We provide social, cultural, educational and leadership opportunities with specific attention to the needs of underrepresented and marginalized students. While advocating for the needs of marginalized students, we strive to promote understanding and acceptance. Our commitment to diversity includes but is not limited to race, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, religion and spiritual beliefs, and disabilities.
As you take advantage of multicultural learning opportunities, you will find that you will expand your worldview, learn more about yourself, and learn more about other cultures in ways that assist you with everyday interactions. We hope that you will engage with our programs to develop and enhance your multicultural skills that will assist you in college and beyond.
I invite you to explore our website to learn more about our events, workshops, scholarships, resource library, computer lab, programming space, and the many opportunities that can help you make connections and enhance your experience while at Arkansas State University.
